{ The Project }

The brief for this website was to appeal to 16-24 year olds interested in pursuing a career in the NHS. The website had to adhere to the NHS brand guidelines and be fully accessible to all.

The website was developed with consultation from a focus group of young people living within the Coventry area, with their feedback on design, colour and wording taken into consideration throughout the design process.

The site has three colour-coded sections on the website – Apprenticeships, Work Experience and Career Opportunites in order to fulfil the requirements of the widening participation and not to disadvantage any member of the community. The standard NHS Trust guidelines for logo use, colour and font were also taken into consioderation during the design process.

A bespoke developed forum (fully moderated to adhere to NHS guidelines) was integrated for young people to ask questions and exchange ideas along with a text message solution and contact form – providing multiple contact points.
