The Project

We were approached by the lead architect involved with the Penzance Neighbourhood Plan to create a website which they could use to raise awareness of the project and use to gather vital information from local residents.

The website was created using WordPress as a content management system with bespoke developed plugins for registering accounts (which tracks visitor IP address to help reduce the likelihood of an individual skewing results) and adding their contributions to a custom map interface created using Google Maps.

Each section within the website was assigned its own colour which were kept consistent in the navigation elements of the site to make navigating the website easy and attractive,.

The website is currently in the early stages of redevelopment into Phase 2 of the project where we will be displaying the results of the initial surveys and look at more interactivity for capturing further information from local residents.
