If you use Facebook for business you may have already seen that your Facebook page format is changing. As of 30th March all Facebook pages will use the new timeline display format – so make sure that your page is ready!
What do you need to do?
Even if you don’t have time to do anything else make sure you have a cover photo uploaded (thats the big image at the top of the page in timeline format).
Got a bit more time available? New things you can do include:
- Check over your company information – is it still up to date and accurate? Make sure you have all your contact information included
- Adding milestones – these could be used to publicise events in your business history, the date you launched the business, shows/events you attended (add some great photos too to enhance your page)
- Set up your 4 ‘feature boxes’ – these are the elements just under your cover image. Our Facebook page has a link to our photos, a signup to our mailing list and our likes – but I’ll be adding more as time goes on
